The Keeper
Chapter 42
Is it weird that I don't want to leave school?
Jodie handed me a bottle of water. I chugged as much of it down as I could and I jumped on my feet. I rolled my shoulders and punched the air a couple times, "Alright. I am so ready. Let's do this thing."
Jodie patted me on the back, "Alright, here are my words of wisdom Don't screw this up!"
I stuck out my tongue at her and rolled my head. Scorch was also by my side, Yeah don't screw this up. Aw, who am I kidding? You're totally going to win this thing. They don't stand a chance.
Shadow and Warrior walked towards us. Shadow cracked his knuckles and shook his h

A life saving True Form, now I gotta learn that one
"NO!" I cried out. I watched Shadow drop down to his knees and grip his stomach. He stared at me with wide eyes before he fell to the ground face first. I could barely breath.
No, no it can't be! I screamed in my head.
Page lifted her head in satisfaction and laughed. It was almost as if every Muneris and Creperum noticed the death. They all stopped their own fights and stared at what happened here. Many of the Muneris shook with fear, but I was shaking with anger.
It was the same kind of anger that I felt when I didn't win the race, but this time around it was mu

A punch, a kick, and a death
The battle still raged on for who knows how long, even though it I've been fighting for only a few minutes. Like I said a long time ago, battling feels like forever. Shadow and I fought back to back, covering each other while we fought our own enemies.
I yelled as I kicked an extra terrestrial looking Creperum in the face. I landed on the ground and punched the thing's stomach with both of my fists, sending the Creperum flying with flames swirling round it.
Behind me, Shadow wasn't holding back when attacking his eagle humanoid Creperum. He punched it in the face and kneed it in the stom

Chapter 39
This is just jacked full of surprises
The FireClaws and all of their followers gasped. Even The Validus around me were shocked. Neelaja looked startled, just for a brief moment before she smiled and laughed. "You have the audacity to challenge me?"
"Yes, I do," I shot back before she could add another comment, "And if you try to back out of this, or if you have other Muneris fight your battle, it just proves my point even more."
Neelaja's cocky smirk wiped off her face. For a second, she looked scared. She quickly hid the emotion and pressed her lips tightly together. "I will not stand here and have you accuse me of

Chapter 38
I break a rule that was never a rule in the first place
WAKE UP! Keeper of the Dragons get off you're lazy butt!
I moaned by all of the shouting and rubbed my eyes open. It was Scorch. He was flying outside of our window yelling at me. Wake up Cailyn! It's time to go! Eat up a big breakfast and get ready. Today's the dragon race! He barked.
Meggie groaned and pressed her fishy pillow over her head, "Ugh. Does that dragon have an off button?"
"Sadly no," I responded with a yawn. I walked up to the window, "Stop shouting dude. I'll get ready alright? You just calm down, okay?"
Calm down?! I can't calm down! Today's

Revenge isn't very sweet, well to me that is
A huge blast shook the ground. I staggered a bit, trying to keep my balance. I frowned and turned towards Shadow again, and asked him for like the fifth time, "Why not?"
"Because this is the perfect opportunity for the rest of The Validus to face one; we all know you can do it, so let others get a chance."
A Muneris got launched into the air and landed hard on the ground, "But they're getting beat up! Besides, this is good for my training too. I haven't really fought a Creperum knowing I'm the you know,"
Here's what I think all of you peoples out there are thinking,
